Medical Teaching Print

Our practice is one of the teaching practices of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level. This means that we have visiting medical students from time to time who normally observe and assist only. Patients will always asked if they  consent for a medical student to be in attendance as we appreciate that patients may sometimes prefer to see their doctor alone.

We also are involved in the completion of training of fully qualified doctors- called registrars- attached to the Vocational Training Scheme in General Practice of the RCSI. These doctors are normally attached to the practice for a period of six to twelve months.
